This Return & Refund Policy explains the conditions under which cancellations, refunds, and service-related issues are handled when purchasing our services or digital products.
1. Overview
UI Designers and Developers (UIDD) provides web development, software development, UI/UX design, graphic design, cybersecurity-related services, and other digital solutions. As most of our services involve customized work, our refund conditions depend on the project status and agreed deliverables.
2. Website Development Payment Structure
Our website development packages follow a three-stage payment structure:
- Initial Payment: An advance payment of Rs. 10,000 is collected to initiate the project and cover domain registration and initial setup costs.
- Second Payment: The remaining package balance is divided into two equal installments. The first installment is collected at the agreed development milestone.
- Final Payment: The second installment is collected at the final development stage, before project handover.
For example, a Rs. 45,000 package requires Rs. 10,000 initially, followed by two installments of Rs. 17,500 each.
3. Refund Policy
The initial payment covers domain registration, project setup, and related initial expenses. Amounts already spent on domain registration and non-refundable third-party services cannot be refunded.
Payments made for development milestones that have already been completed are generally non-refundable.
If a customer cancels a project before the remaining development work has started, the unused portion of the payment may be refunded after deducting any applicable completed work, committed costs, and non-refundable expenses.
For example, if the first development milestone has been completed and the final milestone has not started, the unused final installment of Rs. 17,500 may be eligible for a refund, subject to the agreed project terms.
4. Project Cancellation
Customers may request cancellation by contacting us in writing. Refund eligibility will be assessed based on the completed development work, project milestones, domain registration costs, third-party expenses, and payments already utilized.
Any approved refund will be calculated fairly based on the actual work completed and applicable contractual terms.
5. Revisions and Technical Issues
If a delivered service does not match the agreed project requirements, customers should contact us. We will review the issue and, where appropriate, provide corrections or revisions according to the agreed project scope.
Technical issues caused by our development work will be reviewed and addressed in accordance with the agreed support and warranty terms, where applicable.
6. Digital Products
Digital products, downloadable files, templates, software, and other electronically delivered items are generally non-refundable once delivered or accessed, except where required by applicable law or where the product is defective or materially different from its description.
7. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will generally be processed through the original payment method where possible. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider and banking institution.
